Jim Chapman

Jim sings lead and is married to his wife Susan. Together they have two daughters, Rebekah Santos and Sarah Lunsford, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He has been singing with the Foothills Quartet since March 2002.

He was saved when he was nine years old at Clark’s Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Maryville, TN. He is a member of Springview Baptist Church in Maryville, TN. Jim has a passion for ministry and praises the Lord for how He is blessing the Foothills Quartet.

Burl Ferguson

Burl Ferguson sings Baritone and was saved when he was eight years old. His father was a Baptist preacher. He has been in music ministry for more than 20 years. He sang with Crimson Quartet, Cords Quartet and Shiloh Quartet. He has been married to Deborah for 38 years. They have two children and three grandchildren. Deborah and Burl are members at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Sevierville, TN. Burl shares “ Thank you Foothills Quartet for allowing my wife and I to serve with you. My heart’s desire has always been to see souls saved for the Kingdom of God through the ministry of music.”

Dale Evans

Dale and his wife, Serita have three children and eight grandchildren. Dale says “I fell in love with quartet singing around twelve years old, and I was fascinated by the bass singers of that era. I attended many concerts to listen and learn to apply what I had heard.” Dale sang with his kids as the Evans Family until they grew up and dispersed. Through the years, Dale sang with several groups but he says, “I always wanted to sing with The Foothills Quartet. I am proud and honored to be able to still present the Gospel in song and want to continue with FHQ until the Lord tells me to retire from singing.”

Sarah Lunsford

Sarah Chapman Lunsford is no newcomer to the Foothills Quartet as she is Jim’s daughter. She lives in Maryville with her husband Jesse and their daughter Isabelle. Sarah enjoys reading and traveling, especially traveling to see her stepdaughters and grand babies. She has a heart for those in coercive relationships and is anxious to minister to them, especially through music. Sarah was saved at 13 years old. The Lunsfords attend Dante Church of God in Knoxville.
